Leaf Art – Lions

March is here which means it is the beginning of autumn. I love going for autumn walks with the kids and playing in big piles of leaves. For this activity we only walked around our backyard but it is still nice to play outside at home too. My kids loved this activity both collecting the leaves and gluing them to their paper. It is fun to mix nature with craft.

– Paper
– Crayon/marker
– PVA glue
– Dry autumn leaves
– Scissors

1. Go out for a walk and collect some dry brown autumn leaves.
2. Glue leaves onto white paper, overlapping some as you go to create a lion head shape.
3. Draw a lion face on another piece of paper and cut out.
4. Glue lion face onto leaf lion mane.
5. Let dry and display.
