It is getting warm here in New Zealand as spring is coming to and end and summer is just a few days away. One of the best ways to cool down is with an ice block, yum! I love making the kids homemade ice blocks and experimenting with flavours. This one is a yoghurt based ice block which could easily be served as a smoothie instead. I like using these Ice Pops moulds which are from Munch as they are easy to clean and are a good serving size for the kids.
– 1/2 a banana
– 1/3 C blueberries (frozen or fresh)
– 1/3 C raspberries (frozen or fresh)
– 2/3 C natural yoghurt
– 2 T maple syrup
1. Combine all ingredients in a food processor until smooth (a few chunks is fine too).
2. Pour into ice block moulds.
3. Freeze until set. Enjoy!
